Installing 30+ Female Poses
Requirements
| Required | ||
|---|---|---|
| RedM server | Yes | Any build supporting fx_version 'cerulean' and lua54 'yes' |
| Asset packs | Yes | The manifest declares dependency '/assetpacks' |
| Framework | No | VORP, RSG, RedEM:RP or none |
| Database | No | No server scripts and no SQL |
| An emote system | No | The pack ships its own menu |
Asset packs is a real requirement here
Unlike most RedMorrow resources, this one streams files — twenty-nine .ycd dictionaries. dependency '/assetpacks' is an entitlement check against your server's licence key, and without it the resource refuses to start.
If it fails on that check, enable asset packs for your key in the Cfx.re portal. Nothing in the resource can work around it.
No npm, no build tools, no SQL imports, no extra resources.
Install
Unzip so the folder is named exactly
rm_30-custom-female-pose, anywhere your server loads resources from:resources/[animations]/rm_30-custom-female-pose resources/[standalone]/rm_30-custom-female-poseAdd one line to
server.cfg:cfgensure rm_30-custom-female-poseNo particular order is needed — there are no server scripts and no database. The one exception is if you drive the poses from an emote menu, in which case start this before or alongside it so the dictionaries exist when the menu opens.
Restart, or from the server console:
refresh ensure rm_30-custom-female-pose
Do not rename the folder
Exports are namespaced by folder name, so exports['rm_30-custom-female-pose']:Play(...) breaks the moment you rename it. Strip any version suffix like rm_30-custom-female-pose-1.0.0 too.
A correct tree:
rm_30-custom-female-pose/

config.lua
clips.lua
client.lua

docs/Verify it streamed
The quickest check is in game: press F7. If the menu opens and a pose plays, everything worked.
To check the streaming specifically, run this in the F8 client console:
DoesAnimDictExist('redmorrow_com@pose5')true means the dictionary reached your client. false means the resource is not started, or the asset-pack check failed.
For a scripted test that reports why it failed rather than hanging:
CreateThread(function()
local dict, clip = 'redmorrow_com@pose5', 'pose5'
RequestAnimDict(dict)
local timeout = GetGameTimer() + 5000
while not HasAnimDictLoaded(dict) do
if GetGameTimer() > timeout then
print('FAILED: dictionary did not load — is rm_30-custom-female-pose started?')
return
end
Wait(0)
end
TaskPlayAnim(PlayerPedId(), dict, clip, 4.0, -4.0, -1, 1, 0.0, false, 0, false, 0, false)
print('SUCCESS: pose5 is playing')
end)Verification checklist
| Step | How | Expected |
|---|---|---|
| Resource started | Server console after ensure | No red errors |
| Asset packs | Server console on start | No asset-pack entitlement error |
| Dictionary streamed | DoesAnimDictExist('redmorrow_com@pose5') | true |
| Menu opens | Press F7 in game | The pose menu appears |
| A pose plays | Pick one in the menu | The character holds the pose |
| Stop works | Press X | The character returns to idle |
Common install mistakes
| Mistake | Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Missing asset entitlement | Resource fails to start | Enable asset packs on your Cfx.re key |
| Folder renamed | Exports break; other scripts cannot find it | Rename back to rm_30-custom-female-pose |
Forgot ensure | DoesAnimDictExist returns false | Add the line to server.cfg |
| Not refreshed | Dictionaries missing after copying it in | refresh then ensure |
Renamed a .ycd file | One dictionary missing, the rest fine | Restore the original name — see below |
| Expecting FiveM | Nothing exists | These are RDR2 .ycd files. RedM only |
Never rename a .ycd file
An RDR2 dictionary stores its own name inside the file. Renaming the file does not rename the dictionary — it just makes the two disagree, and the dictionary becomes unreachable.
Where it stores things
Player favourites are kept in the client's own KVP store under favorites, not in a database. They are per-player and per-machine, and nothing is written server-side.
